For our teaser trailer we were inspired by the Transformers 3 teaser trailer and Shutter Island plot and trailer.
The Transformers 3 teaser trailer inspired us, the dramatic music built up tension and made it really exciting to watch. The shots fade in and out, this is something we have incorporated to our own trailer.
The Shutter Island plot intrigued us when writing our script and actual plot. The way there is a subversion of expectations at the end makes you really think and is a shock to the audience, so we wanted to do the same with our film and make it exciting. The trailer also uses good tension building music and dramatic effects ushc as the titles and fading in and out.
