Production: Poster Pictures 1

These are the images we took at the woods at night. We want our poster to have a gloomy and spooky effect so we thought that an image of woods and trees would do this well.

We like the effect of there seeming to be headlights from a car on the ground, making it more realistic and that there is something there.

This one we don't like that much because it is very dark, with only the light from the flash on the camera showing on the ground. And that the trees look very smooth, looks too put together.

This image is our favourite because the sky is lighter than some of the others but it still looks dark and spooky. The moon also brings to life the fact that it is night time.

This one is very blurry and the sky is too light, so we will not be using this one.

The colours in the sky are really nice here, however, for the purpose of a thriller film poster it does not give the effect that we were hoping for.

We quite liked this one because it showed the lights in the background, showing that it isn't just a remote woodland, however, the ground is very dark and there is a bin in the corner, so it would be hard to work with.

We took a screen shot from the trailer of Fiona, it's a medium close of her face and we like it because it shows intensity and also she looks scared, which is the effect we were going for.
We will edit the image to make it darker, so it will look more moody and spooky, and so that it will blend well with the image of the woods.

When looking back at these images we first took for the poster we decided to do it again but properly this time so that we had the main character with us to take some high quality images.
